Not a “Crisis”
I don’t know about you but listening to someone refer to the struggles Women face in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s as a “mid-life crisis” triggers me a bit.
First of all, both sexes hit a certain developmental benchmark in their ego development around this time.
The heady combination of kids growing up and out, significant changes to career/finances, the stress/grief of aging parents, the fluctuation of hormones, and changes to physiology, it’s no wonder that “pressure cooker” of life often reaches critical mass (for Women, especially).
If you’re one of the millions of Women who suddenly finds herself in a season questioning everything while drowning in chaos and confusion, take heart.
You’re in the midst of a Sacred Expansion…NOT a “mid-life crisis.”
Remember that phase of ego development I mentioned before?
Taking stock of your life and your relationships while asking the tough, uncomfortable questions you may have been suppressing as of late doesn’t warrant a “crisis.”
These are GOOD and VALID behaviors that ALL WOMEN should and need to ask themselves through research, wise and professional counsel, and some form of spiritual practice.

No matter your season, no matter your struggles, you are a Woman who is WORTHY to be seen and heard…not because you’ve earned it, but because you were born into it. And worthiness endures forever.
