SACRED SPACES

This week, I have been pondering the meaning of Sacred Freedom…

It is the name on which all of my work is based, and it has motivated my journey for the last three-plus years. I believe that freedom (which will mean something different for all of us) is SACRED. I believe that everything in life can be seen as sacred if we have the eyes to see it from that perspective.

For me, Sacred Freedom means deep gratitude and wonder for the privilege of aligning with my Soul Self—the woman God created me to be. It means feeling deeply connected to the Divine Spirit within me and being able to choose what is most true to my heart.

This is not a freedom I take lightly. It is one that many women are not able to have given their social, economic, or political circumstances. That truth guides me even deeper as I feel a Divine Desire to live in my truth, or the Divine Purposes that my life was created for,

as well as help other women awaken to their soul’s purpose and desires.

In order to live from this place of Divine Purpose and freedom, I am required to grow my awareness daily so I can see, hear, feel, smell, and taste the sacred that surrounds me always.

You see, when we are aware, we can choose to be in a place of gratitude, regardless of our circumstances or our emotions. We open ourselves up to a higher level of being able to see—not just the physical beauty that surrounds us, but also the spiritual beauty of all that God has created for us.

Last week, I had the privilege of being in Florence, Italy.

Talk about being in my awareness, in the present moment, and taking in the sacred of all that surrounded me at every moment! I was able to be present and deeply connected to all of my senses through each of my experiences.

My soul was ignited by the taste of the delicious food, beautifully presented, as well as the gorgeous red wine from the hills that rose up around me, the sounds of Italian opera floating up through the window from the piazza below, and the church bells ringing. I walked through the cobbled streets, wet from rain and crowded with people, and would stumble upon a sacred piece of art or an ancient piece of history. There were beautiful gardens, the full moon’s reflection on the Arno, and a church on the top of a hill with Mother Mary surrounded by candlelight.

The entire experience satiated my senses and made me feel the Spirit of the Divine within and around me at every moment.

The beauty and sacredness of these spaces are palpable. They have the capability to transform, create, and inspire. They reflect the sacred space that each of us holds within us and remind us of the importance of creating the time and space to nurture this part of our soul. This is where we can connect with the deeper, Divine part of us (that I refer to as our Soul Self)).

It is the part of us that is deeply connected to the most aligned version of ourselves, where we feel our soul’s passion, purpose, and inspiration—our Truth.

It is when we go within to spend time with our soul that we are able to create a beautiful, safe, Sacred Space for ourselves to receive emotional healing, growth, and transformation. What we create within will then be reflected outwardly.

This week, I encourage you to prioritize the time and space to meet with this.

This will open you up to a deeper level of awareness and gratitude to see the beauty of all that surrounds you. The Divine is always showing us the abundance of its creations through our senses.

Allow for the Sacred.
